As per PySceneDetect v0.5, if multiple -i / --input videos are given, the files will be appended together. This works for everything except splitting the video with ffmpeg currently (see the TODO in the scenedetect.video_splitter module as per v0.5-beta-1).
Currently, only support for multiple input/appended videos is provided for mkvmerge (i.e. using the split-video command with the -c / --copy option). This issue is to track the progress of implementing this for the regular split-video command using ffmpeg, which may require writing a temporary file list to disk and deleting it after in order to solve this in a cross-platform way.
