Hello GitHub Support,

I am reaching out to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding the current behavior and limitations applied to my GitHub Copilot Pro+ subscription.

I subscribed to the most expensive GitHub Copilot tier specifically because I rely heavily on AI-assisted development in my daily workflow. However, the current rate-limiting model is making the service practically unusable for sustained professional usage.

What is happening is deeply inconsistent and extremely frustrating:

• Last month, I noticed my token usage being consumed rapidly.
• This month, despite maintaining constant and intensive usage, my account has only consumed approximately 11% of the monthly quota so far.
• However, even with only 11% consumed, I am repeatedly being blocked by weekly rate limits after just a short period of use.

At the moment, on May 8th, I have already exhausted my weekly allowance since May 7th, and the system is forcing me to wait until May 10th for access restoration.

This creates a completely contradictory and unacceptable situation:

• I am paying for a premium monthly plan.
• The monthly quota is barely being consumed.
• Yet I am being aggressively throttled on a weekly basis.
• As a result, it becomes mathematically impossible to ever consume the capacity included in the subscription I am paying for.

Frankly, this feels misleading from a customer perspective.

The current implementation gives the impression of offering a large monthly allowance while practical weekly restrictions prevent users from actually utilizing what was contracted.

Additionally, I am also dissatisfied with the current model multiplier adjustments involving Anthropic models.

For example:

• Claude Opus 4.6 previously operated at 3x usage.
• Now it appears to have been replaced or shifted toward Claude Opus 4.7 with a 15x multiplier.

A 15x multiplier is extraordinarily high and makes the model economically impractical to use within the platform.

At this point, I am seriously questioning whether continuing with GitHub Copilot Pro+ makes sense at all.

Ironically, it is starting to look significantly more advantageous to subscribe directly to Claude Code instead of paying for GitHub Copilot Pro+, even though my preference would be to remain within the GitHub ecosystem.

I would appreciate clear and objective answers regarding:

1. Why weekly throttling is occurring so aggressively despite extremely low monthly quota consumption.
2. Whether this behavior is intentional policy or a technical issue.
3. How GitHub expects Pro+ users to realistically consume their paid monthly allocation under the current weekly restrictions.
4. Whether there are plans to revise the current rate-limiting and multiplier policies, especially for Anthropic models.

I would also appreciate escalation of this case to the appropriate product or billing team, as this directly impacts the perceived value and usability of the subscription.
